Following a very successful pilot scheme in 2009 and a successful event in 2010, the Royal Society of British Artists, supported by NADFAS, again invited A level students to submit work for the exhibition.

Arden DFAS sponsors Art prizes at Solihull Sixth Form College and Arden School. Prize-winning works from both establishments were submitted earlier this year and three works, two from the Sixth Form College and one from Arden School, have been selected for the exhibition. The two paintings will be shown as 10x8 reproductions alongside the sculpture and works from professional artists. Unfortunately, one of the Arden School's prize-winning works exceeded the maximum size stipulated for the exhibition and was excluded from consideration.

Selected work will be displayed at the annual Art Exhibition of the Royal Society of British Artists at their gallery in The Mall, London in March 2012.

Arden DFAS is delighted that not one but three works from establishments where it has promoted and judged Art competitions have been selected for inclusion. The Society congratulates Stratford-upon-Avon DFAS for a similar success.
